Harm Reduction Nurse Elaine Parkinson is based at Brown Street North, Substance Misuse Service.
Elaine also provides a clinic at Wigan & Leigh Street Based Services, Bold Street, Leigh every Wednesday afternoon.
At the clinic Elaine will deal with any questions about general health, problem injecting sites and possible infections that you may wish to discuss.

This operates daily from our offices in Leigh and from the Municipal Buildings in Wigan. As well as needle exchange staff are trained to provide harm reduction advice and information and to seek to engage people in services.
Vaccinations for hepatitis A & B are given free of charge. Bloods are also taken if required to deal with any problems regarding the hepatitis virus.
If nothing else, Elaine will be available should you need to have a chat about any problem and help with advice or referrals to other agencies.
